The Moving Consultation & Quote

We don’t guess at the cost of your move or leave you to figure out the logistics alone. Sean will arrange a professional moving consultation at your home with our preferred moving partner.

• ✓ The Scope: A formal, written quotation covering the physical transport of agreed-upon household items to your new destination, as well as coordinated items for donation or disposal.
• ✓ The Commitment: Once finalized and signed, costs and services are locked in. No deviations unless agreed to in writing. This quote becomes an official part of your Listing Agreement.
• ✓ Final Say: Sean Hartley maintains sole discretion regarding any extra moving services or logistics beyond the initial quote.

Term of Partnership

To provide this level of stress removal and front the costs of your move and marketing, the Listing Agreement must be for a minimum term of six (6) months. During this period, Sean Hartley will determine the listing price based on current Halton Region market trends and property valuation to ensure a successful sale.

The Stress-Free Guarantee

Sean invests his own capital into your move, staging, and marketing because he’s confident in the Rightsizing Blueprint. Here’s how the process stays fair:

• ✓ Zero Risk to You: If the listing agreement expires naturally after the full 6-month term without receiving any offers — reasonable or otherwise — you owe nothing. Sean takes on the full financial risk of the moving consultation, staging, and marketing.
• ✓ Early Cancellation: Sean is happy to take the risk of the market, but cannot take the risk of a change of heart. If the Listing Agreement is cancelled by the Seller before the 6-month expiry, the Seller agrees to reimburse Sean Hartley for all incurred expenses (moving quotes, staging, photography, etc.) plus HST.
• ✓ Full Transparency: Copies of all expense receipts will be provided within 7 days of cancellation. Repayment is due within 30 days.

Third-Party Liability

While Sean Hartley coordinates and pays for the move through a professional partner, the moving company is an independent contractor. Sean Hartley and RE/MAX Escarpment Realty Inc. are not liable for any physical damage to personal items or the property during the move. Any claims must be filed directly with the moving company’s insurance provider.
